It had been smokey all week and stormy for two days, but we setup for sunset anyway from our favorite overlook. The tripod for this image was about five feet from the cliff edge, and we were mostly standing back to avoid the gusty wind. The sun came out on the horizon before it set and led to one of the more impressive sunsets we’ve witnessed. Despite our best efforts, the photos still don’t do it justice.
